Pilot 2026.3 — A Whole New Look for Domoticz & Jeedom on iOS

Pilot 2026.3 brings a stunning glass morphism redesign, new Scenes tab, grid density options, and a rebuilt Apple Watch app. The best native iOS client for Domoticz and Jeedom just got a major upgrade.

When I started working on Pilot 2026.3, the goal was clear: make the app feel as good as it works.

Pilot has always been built around performance, privacy, and deep Apple integration. But design matters too — and with this release, every screen has been reimagined from scratch.

Everything You Touch Has Changed

Every device control in Pilot has been rebuilt. Dimmers, thermostats, RGB lights, blinds, security panels — all 14 control types now share a unified design language inspired by glass morphism: translucent panels, soft blur effects, and fluid animations.

This isn’t a theme change. It’s a full SwiftUI rewrite of every interaction surface in the app.

Scenes Deserve Their Own Space

One of the most requested changes was better access to scenes and groups. In 2026.3, they get a dedicated tab.

The new 3-tab navigation puts Home, Favorites, and Scenes front and center. Settings move to a clean modal overlay. The search bar collapses when you don’t need it. The result is an interface that breathes.

Your Grid, Your Way

Not everyone wants the same layout. Premium users can now choose between 3, 4, 5, or 6 columns of device tiles — with icons and labels that scale to match.

Whether you prefer a compact overview or large, easy-to-tap tiles, the grid adapts to how you use your home.

Apple Watch, Rebuilt

The Watch companion has been completely rewritten in SwiftUI. Modern WidgetKit complications replace the legacy system. It’s faster to launch, more responsive to control, and now supports thermostats, blinds, scenes, and security panels directly from your wrist.

Designed for People Who Run Their Own Servers

If you chose Domoticz or Jeedom, you value independence. Pilot connects directly to your servers — no cloud, no relay, no tracking. That hasn’t changed.

What has changed is how it feels to use. Pilot 2026.3 is the version I always wanted to ship.
