Pilot has been the native iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch app for Domoticz, Jeedom and Home Assistant since 2014. The Android version is a fresh native build in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. It matches the iOS app screen for screen and follows Android's own conventions.
What you get on day one
- Full Domoticz control. Switches, dimmers, RGB, blinds, thermostats, scenes, groups, selectors, security panels and Evohome, plus live cameras, sensors and user variables.
- Real-time WebSocket updates. Someone flips a light in another room and your phone shows it within a second.
- Home-screen widgets and a Quick Settings tile. Run a scene or flip a favorite without opening the app.
- Geofencing. Turn devices on when you arrive and off when you leave, handled in the background.
- Push notifications when a door opens, motion triggers, or a device changes state.
- App lock with a PIN or biometrics, plus day, month and year history graphs.
- Local-first. Pilot connects straight to your server, with no cloud relay or account.
- English, French and Dutch, light and dark themes, Material You colors.
Domoticz first
This first Android release covers Domoticz. Jeedom and Home Assistant already run on iOS and sit on the Android roadmap. If you run Domoticz, the app is ready for you now.
